sharply with the highly polished subjects. There is a 3-D quality that has to
be seen up close to be appreciated fully. Because of this, pictures simply
don't do them justice! Dan added a sturdy frame to each one, achieving a
seemless integration. He also added some decorative gouging to the tops
and sides, and all eight of each carving's corners are protected with brass.
