"Aurora"
May, 2001
The center of this wall hanging is a painted image of the northern lights by T. Olver, that I purchased in Fairbanks, Alaska in 1995. It is embellished with clear seed beads and glow in the dark thread.

"The Green Man is Watching Us"
40" x 50"
June, 2001This quilt uses over one thousand pieces of fabric to capture the spirit of the "Green Man". This is a very three-dimensional quilt, with strong textures; three-dimensional butterflies, flowers, stones and beads; and some features that will not be visible until you see it in a dark room...
You can spend hours finding wood sprites, animals, fairies and other nature deva's
peering out from the fabrics.

"The Dark Moon is a Crone"
1996"The Dark Moon is a Crone" was inspired by a friend's
offhand jest of, "I bet you can't make a black quilt". I thought immediately of

the ancient Celtic idea of linking the phases of the moon to the span of a
woman's life. 35 inches diameter,

"Pemaquid Point Lighthouse"
1995
Pemaquid Point Lighthouse on the coast of Maine is located
on a beautiful rocky setting. Unlike most coastlines, the strata of the rocks
are exposed in remarkably straight lines. Most of the fabric is hand-painted
silk or cotton. The fence posts are clay beads made by my husband and son.
